Feeler on value for XJR
Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum but appreciate all the supportive info from the members.
I have a 1995 XJR (supercharged) with 66,000 original miles, in very good condition, that I am going to sell. I cannot find many other examples in nice shape for sale and I was wondering if you had any input as to what the approximate value would be here on the west coast, in Los Angeles.
The car is a one-family ownership and has been well maintained with recent servicing including water pump, hoses, battery, etc.
Any input or tips regarding selling the vehicle would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a nice one! If the condition is commensurate with the miles, and the car will clean up REALLY well, I would suggest listing it with BaT. A blue/tan '96 XJR with very low miles, not-so-great cosmetics, and a so-so history (spent most of its like in Puerto Rico) sold at no-reserve for $4,100. These cars are misunderstood, and very undervalued, but the community at BaT is starting to turn around. An '03 just sold for $23K!
Your car, given what we know, could sell for $6,700-$7,200+ depending on wether or not the market ate its Wheaties that morning. Good luck with the sale, and feel free to tell us more about your XJR.

I too recommend BAT. I’ve been lurking there for years and not many jags come around XJR like yours should fetch closer to 10k I hope.
I would not sell it for anything less.
With that said. I scored a 45k mike xj6 for 5k. Private sale.

Oh! The turquoise gives a tingle! Original wheels too. Value goes up some. Turquoise was only seen on this one model year of XJR (and not on any other X300 series cars). It's pretty special. But asking ten thousand would really be stretching the limits too far IMHO.
Bring a Trailer pulls big money for these cars if they are proper.

WOW! That color kind of blew me away. Very pretty jungle cat. If it were Kingfisher Blue with Black Leather.. I.. I would die. Haha. And the condition of those wheels!
But I have to ask, what is going on with the headlights?? For a premium, those will need to be reworked asap.
All the best.

You have a mighty cool cat on your hands, not that you don't know it, so make the most of it's story.
Call BaT!! All the best.
