Default Fresh new look for the XJ6L

I have removed the satin pearl wrap. The car had been resprayed before and an old style (crap) clear coat was used and pulled up when removing the vinyl. Getting ready for the priming to even it out, then will be applying Avery Black Pearl. I've already done the passenger doors. ALL of the stainless trim is out to powdercoat satin black to match the wheels & grille. The list includes bumper trim, all door trim, rails, quarter window, antenna nut, front & back glass trim. It should come out awesome.

Ready for primer

Too many peaks and valleys, the imperfections show through the wrap so we are using a layering primer, then will block sand it smooth.

Many questions.. just googled the term. I had no idea you could get vinyl wrap like that.

Thanks for the update and more pictures, please.

This is how it used to look for a year with 3M 1080 Satin Pearl. The 20's were put on just for this pic. They, are huge and not recommended.

Am I understanding you right? Is that a vinyl wrap you are applying?

The biggest part of this project was having ALL of the stainless trim powder coated satin black to match the wheels and grill I had done previously.

I never liked the chrome look of stainless. It dates the car and doesn't match my desired color scheme!
