Fuel cut off switch question
The fuel injectors have power :: sitting :: on them with the closing of the large ECU control relay
The ECU provides the timed ground for each injector for proper fuel injection
This large relay is controlled by the ECU and brings power back into ( sepeate juntion splice ) the ECU to funtion as the 2nd power
The 1st power source is the right engine bay fuse box relay
ECU needs both power sources at all times

I jumped the inertia switch and attempted to start the car. This time, no starter either. I reset the switch and connected the connector to the switch. Starter worked....but no start. ,
So, with respect to the relay in the trunk....I put a universal relay there instead. No start.
I'm confused with regards to a second relay under the hood in the engine compartment you mention?!
Sag time?

Large right # 5 relay for the injector power
right engine bay fuse box relay # 9 for the 1st power to the ECU
Input from others have helped me think more of other items to check for starter sag
Laptop computer recharge brick going out as well as spare

The fuel pump relay will click in your finger 3 times in engine starting sequence
On for 3 seconds then off then back on when CKPS sees engine rotation
The fuel pressure should be trapped in the fuel lines between relay closing
You can slightly remove a fuel line nut to see if you have some dripping pressure as a crude knowledge
Use 2 wrenches least twisting the tubing
Fuel pressure is 43 PSI
Sometimes there is a small leak of the trapped fuel pressure like overnight and requires a couple of rotations of the key to the run position to get the pressure up , this gives you more then 1 count 3 second fuel line charging ( different then cylender priming term )
