Default Fuse Panel Locations

Hello All, well still new here and have two small issues that need to be addressed. my factory radio will not power on at all and my trunk release button will not work either. Where are the Fuse Panels located? I heard on is under the passanger seat? Is this correct? Please advise. Thanks for any help!

there is one in the trunk by battery, one under the two back seats (take of verticall board coved with carpet) and two in the engine bay on each side. also look on passenger side of car in engine bay there is a fuse map in the black plastic tool compartment.

Thanks for the help, I looked at the guide and pulled the fuse that was supposed to controll the radio but was not blown? Any other leads as to why the radio might not be working?

Correct.. I have power to everything else in the console A/C, Heat and the clock is on. However the radio will not power? After pressing the power button 100 times it just wont turn on.

well you could take the head unit out and see if it is getting power to it, using a voltmeter. (i think it is the brown w/grey strip wire that is for power. there are two off them and they are the thickest wires that conect to the stereo) the deck has a different power wire then the clock and other stuff on the slope. to take access the head unit look at http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you...995_Jaguar_XJ6 URL.
its up to you whether you are up for the job. also you can take it in to best buy or other stereo shop and have them diagnose it (where i lived it was free but they could charge you some money). i had them diagnose mine then told them i would consider the price and did it myself.
Other people on the forum might know more.
