Well I have now ended up having to move out of where I was, leaving my XJ6 AND xjr project on hold or ended. I have nowhere to do the work and am horrified of all the time and money and how beautiful the car would have been had i finished it. Please check the classifieds if ytou need anything from either car.. both in immacualte shape.. XJR 6cyl supercharged has 74 thousand KM not miles...and interior is showroom condition...

 

I am truly sorry for your loss! Wish you lived at least only 300 miles away as I probably would bought everything you had. Good luck.

If anyone wants anything.. best to make an offer now. crushing the cars in 3 more days.. willing to ship it anywhere in north america.. have been told i can get a transport to deliver them pretty much anywhere for around 600 canadian

You can't sell it (although I can't understand why no-one wants to buy), so why not give it away, rather than crushing. Sounds like a bit of a knee-jerk reaction and a waste! I'd give my right foot for that...

I take it you wouldn't send any parts to New Zealand?

as it is right now there is a guy just over the border in quebec who has a euro parts place who is offering me 1750 for both cars... not what i paid but better than nothing.. I didnt want to crush them at all.. but i have nowhere to park them and they are in a car dealerships lot right now and they are threatening to send them off to the scrap yard if they arent moved by today...if the guy doesnt pay me for the cars i guess i cantry to find parking for them.. but the towing all over is getting expensive and can't afford to keep moving them and paying for storage. The metal yard offered 400 per car.. as for the small parts.. if you guys wanna quickly let me know things you want.. i can try to negotiate grabbing them.. what stuff around the shifter? both cars have next to perfect interiors.. except the xj6 had a crappy middle console (where valet button is) and drivers seat looks like a fat lady with all the stretch marks in the leather...the XJR interior is practically brand new looking other than the air bag locations which let go when air bags deploy.....
I am calling the euro parts guy right now, and from there i will know more.. If he isnt taking them.. please make offers for whatever parts you may need.. Truly the condition of the XJR is beyond belief...its a shame it was in an accident

 

EDIT: Oh, you sold them already. Nevermind then.

 

I want the rings around the shifter for the XJR. The silver plastic piece, the leather part and the sport/Normal switch.
