Yeah, the author has us smacking our lips but gives nothing to chew on :-)
What I've gathered over the last few years regarding XJR/6 power improvements is:
1) Lower restriction intake and exhaust systems offer very little improvement.
2) Changing pulleys to drive the supercharger faster doesn't pay off because the boost gain is offset by the air charge being too hot
3) Improving the intercooling seems to be worthwhile.
4) For substantial gains you'll need a bigger supercharger. One fellow I know of changed his M90 for an M112 with good results. A lot of custom fabrication was required
