Fuse problems

Default Fuse problems

I have been testing fuses in the car and some dont work!
But when I replace them with one that does work somewhere else and still nothing. I know its kinda a stupid question but im a nuebe.
Any ideas?

Some fuses only work when something is switched on.

Not all fuses are permanently live.

put the key in the "ON" position and those that seem to not work should work. some are direct battery feed and some are ignition "ON" feed
