Default Help! I messed up my dash lights!

Newbie here so I thought I'd ask. I was toying around with the inop cigar lighter up front to see if I could make sense of what was going on with all the aftermarket wiring in there. I had no juice to either light so I thought I'd start up front for some reason....anyhow, the light itself was working. I, naively use the hot from the light on the lighter itself and then applied the cigar lighter load on it. Well. Now the light does not work when I moved it back nor do the dash lights.

Any idea what I broke?

I would suggest you have blown a fuse. Light interior circuits normally use 5 or 7.5 amp fuses.

Cigar lighter would probably use a 20 amp fuse.

Yeah, I checked the cigar fuse and both "instrument panel" fuses. Do you know which fuse it might be? I have all the original manuals but the fuse guide doesn't suggest anything to control that in particular.

Thanks

Panel lighting is #2 fuse (10 amp) in the left heelboard fuse box
