Help needed on electrical please

Default Help needed on electrical please

Just got a used x-300. It hasnt been used for 2 years. I just found out that there are many electrical parts that cant be used.
1. Both driving and passenger seats. I tried to connect it direct to the fuse box and it worked. Could it be the control unit or the switch? For the control unit, is it possible to repair please?
2. I cannot adjust both side rear view mirrors. Someone said it's the same control unit as the driver's seat. Is that true? Again, is it possible to fix instead of changing the whole unit please?
3. I have an anti-lock warning light. At the same time, the odometer doesnt work. What could be the reason please?
Apart from those 3, it is working nicely.

Many thanks Gus. It looks complicated to me but i will find someone to try. Anyway, from your experience, would these electric parts failure due to the control unit, relay, or else, please? If it is on the control unit, is it possible to fix?

We found many problems caused by poor connections, failed solder on a circuit board or a bad control unit. Before you see the worst look at all your fuses. I recently had a problem that I checked and rechecked and did not see it until I removed the fuse and found it to be blown, replaced it and all was good. I would also suggest checking fuse and relay connections; these cars have a compatibility issue with the electrical contacts. Use a contact cleaner and many may disagree but I apply dielectric contact paste. If you think a control unit is bad see if your car has a redundant system on the other side and swap the units but keep in mind that if both sides are not working chances are the problem is on the source side.
