Well hello to all,

Ive had my 97 VDP for about 3 years now 120,000 miles on it never really had time to drive it heavy. I just changed out speakers and was about to update the stereo.

And wouldnt you know check engine light on took it to local auto store of course they cant find obd, so get down with my flash light and commence to searching. Some info says the odb port should be between steering column and center console, others above the hood latch, others around trim under dash.

Anyone with a 97 VDP know where it is at for sure? And Im assuming OBD2 protocol? All responses greatly appreciated... Thanks Will

 

On mine it's right about where the bottom edge of the dash and the vertical plane of the console come together

Thanks fellas mine had got tucked off in the trim pretty deep and had to get under and pull it out think I brushed across it twenty times just wasnt looking far enough in there.
