help replacing crossbeam support

Haven't done them in years! The torx bolts are a little tricky as I think there is some locktite on the threads and it is hard to get a straight shot on the bolt. You must have the ability to lift the body up while the subframe lowers. Loosen the rear subframe bolt so that bushing doesn't bind and tear. The new mounts go into the upper frame member of the unibody about an inch or so. I couldn't find the repair in my version of the repair manual. It is relatively straightforward. I don't recall any tricks or things to watch out for beyond what I mentioned with lifting the body from the subframe.
Let us know how you make out.

As mentioned above there are locating lugs on the V mounts that go in to the chassis. The tricky part I found was lining these up. As it is likely that you have the rear mounts still in place but just loosened (as recommended above) then the subframe is pivoting on the rear bush bolts. That means the V mounts are not at the right angle to go in to the chassis.
I needed an assistant to slowly raise jack under the subframe while I levered the V mount to be parallel with the chassis. Ideally have another assistant lever the V mount on the other side at the same time. Bit of a team game really.
