Hello all,
I tried disconnecting the battery for a minute and it did not work. I than disconnected both terminals overnight and that did not work. Is there any other method? If I need a scanner can someone tell me what type would work. Hopefully one I can use on other brand vehicles.
Thanks!
ED.

Not to be a wise ***, but you might plan to fix the problem first. That would require you scan to find the code, right? Most any OBDII reader does fine. Although the '95 is not certified as OBDII, the system is actually OBDII. The '95 and '96 ECUs are connector interchangable.
You can find the code list via google .. or post back here for diagnostic help.
