Default How to get to the "fusebox protection module" between the rear seat and the battery?

Long story short, I've had a shunt in my Xj6 and will be repairing it, but I made a **** up and the main power lead down the passenger side of the engine bay shorted.

I've traced the failed link back to the 'fusebox protection module', number 3 in this picture..

I've put a jump lead from the battery to a positive link in the rear footwell and the car starts and everything seems to work.

The problem is, I've taken the rear seats out and the big battery cables just disappear under it into the frame.
From the boot, the positive cable just disappears around the side of the fuel tank.

So, how do I get to that fuse to replace it?

G’day Matt,

You have to lift the lining under the rear seat and there will be a roughly triangular rubber foam piece under which is the protection module you’ve mentioned.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Spot on Jeff, tested it and as suspected fuse has blown.
Many thanks
