How often should the PCV valve be replaced in the X300?
There is no PCV on my 95 4.0 VDP. The hose coming out of your cam cover goes over to your incoming engine air. There is also a smaller vacuum hose "T"ed into this hose that goes to the EGR. There is a updated version of this whole configuration in the past few months recent threads.

The Part number: JLM20709 I doubt dealers have it. . Try one of the vendors, Coventry, Jagbits, Etc. Go to the bottom of the this page on the Forum, click on 2 (last months threads) someone posted a picture of the kit.

The JLM20709 kit shows up on eBay for about $20-40 pretty frequently. However many of the kits do not include the modified oil dipstick tube, but frankly that part isn't required.
That being said, there is a seller in the UK on eBay that has a bunch of the entire kits, including the modified dipstick, super cheap at less than $20 (plus shipping). I bought mine from that seller.
Here's a quick eBay search:

You'll see the UK seller in those results.
