ignition coil wiring harness
The ignition coils wiring harness on my 1995 XJ6 has become brittle with the insulation flaking off and such. I see bare wiring.
What do y'all know about replacing it?
Yeah, I'm from the South (USA).

Bill,
Mine has got the "crackles" last time I replaced the plugs, and I really must start hunting for the plugs and terminal, and then some decent wire, and make my own. Buying an S Type has the mighty X300 in storage for the foreseeable future.
I have made many V12 EFI looms over the years, and see no issues with this simple 12 wire sucker.

You can buy a used wiring harness on Ebay or other sites. However, if you do this, make sure you check and re-check the continuity and condition of each wire in the harness or you will be asking for trouble!
Grant's suggestion is the best. The connectors are standard and should be easy to find, get some good quality high temp wire and brush up your soldering skills
It's not a bad job.
