Ok just driving down the freeway at 70 outa know where the warning lights and all the gauges started going crazy blinking. Up and down. Airbag light stays on. Then off
Now nothing reallly works in the last 20 min.
Engine runs fine. When I turn the key before starting its fine. Start and it's a dance club. scared the hell outa me. Anyone have any ideas? And What's funny is funny is I fixed the xjs today.

 

You presumably have an X300 but that's all we know.
If you go to User CP>edit signature and put the car details in there we'll be better able to help.

Well i figured it out i have a bad coil oooooo yay!!!

Been there.

You have a coil going on the fritz. There are a number postings in the archives, including mine.

Remove the coil cover and run the engine in a dark garage. The culprit coil will usually show itself by giving its own little light show in the translucent potting material at the top. This may not work unless the problem is actually happening when you look.

ha thanks Doug. yep got home last night and i couldnt go to bed before i found the prob.
shut the lights out and number 4 was flashing.
