Good! Can you refresh our collective memory on what the problems were, and the fixes?

Looking forward to it :-)

Choose your battles carefully, though. Many modern cars will outrun our old XJR/6s easily :-)

Cheers

No probs doug. I had to ditch the car 2 weeks ago as a complete tool came sideways round a corner on some back roads. I ended up in about 18 - 24 inches of standing water with a very dead car. after replacing the crank sensor and some coil packs plus drying out all of the electrics replacing the plugs changing the oil and the exhaust she is up and running. thanks to the advice on here i managed to do it at home so it only cost about 500 quid. the only thing i need now is both exhaust manifolds as they cracked when the cold water hit them but cant find a pair apart from via jag and thats telephone numbers to buy. managed to weld them for now though. I can now get back to the restoation and performance upgrades I had planned so I dont need to pick my fights carefully .

It's all driver

Or at least cunning ...

Mr. Kawasaki 750: "I can beat your car any time!"
me: "umm ... don't think so."
Mr. Kawasaki 750: "You're crazy, it's a Kawasaki 750!"
me: "ok ... I'll go for pinks ... if I can pick the course"
Mr. Kawasaki 750: "You're on!"
me: "First man to pull a parking ticket from the parking machine at the Hilton wins."
Mr. Kawasaki 750: "but ..."
me: "Hey ... you said I could pick the course ... that's the course"

It was December, up in the hills, windy and the Hilton was 300 miles away ... he bailed
