Hi everyone. Just a quick question on whether the J-Gate can be modified so that 1st gear can be picked up manually? I have always thought that the "2" position should really be "1" and the flick to the left from drive to the manual side of the gate should be a manual hold for "3".

Hopefully you can understand what I am getting at with the above question. The reason I ask is I have a 3.2 Sport and it feels a bit lethargic at lower revs and really likes to be kept on the boil for best effect. So complete over riding of the auto would be good.
