Hi everyone
I've recently acquired a Jaguar XJR X300, 4.0 Supercharged , a non runner, I'm unable to get the car to turn on. There seems to be a brown connector that is not connected to anything under the dash, it's a LHD car.
I'm hoping someone can help figure out where or to what it connects to, a picture from your car would be of great help.
Looks like the main loom connector that goes through the inner wing in the footwell. Should be a brown connector in the hole shown in picture, or it will be dangling in the wheel arch area. NOTE: This is my RHD car, yours may be different.
in the bottom of the arch well on the cars right it is the RS3 connector
left is the LS3 connector
above the bottom of the arch well in Brendans pic with the second circle is different.
The RS3 connector below the rubber button switch ( inertia / crash switch ) in the Brendan's pic goes through the cabin skin to go forward on the car fnto the engine compartment

The through wall RS3 connector will come out in the right wheel well arch
The loom will split in half with half of it going over the front tire and the other half going up
You can see the rectangle hole on the like LS3 side
There is a fuel pump enable wire in the RS3 connector
Do not try too hard to get the connector lock bar over as this can break the lock over pins
My RS3 connector was damaged from the previous owner's crash and not replacing
This same type of connector has 2 spots in front of the Body Prossesor Module (needed for starter rotation enable) located behind the glove box
Thank you for the detailed explanation, much appreciated. I have found the connector, unfortunately the locking tab/pin is broken, will have to cable tie the connectors together for now.
if it is the LS3 or the RS3 they both have a slight thickness difference from the other locations on the car
it is also above the fuel tank and that one may better match the LS3 and RS3 thickness
The previous owner on mine tried the tie wrap on the RS3 and didn't work as some pins didn't contact well enough.
I obtained a replacement connector from a salvage X300 , a X308 may be the same in this specific connector. And I have the connector catalogue for the X308 on another computor
I have the breakout sheet after the connector is repinned if starting from scratch
