Just swapped out the reflector glass only on the interior mirror and is loose on the windshield base . Donor glass came out of a early X300 assembly with the triangular clip with the different hook shaped post . I can tell mine is the different later version .

There was some sort of a TSB or note explaining the different setup somewhere .

The glass swapout is easier then rewiring for the different wire connector of the whole assembly .
