I finally saw the vid. Good job with that.

A few more points:

If the dash trunk release and the trunk button don't work, the car could be stuck in valet mode. If so, it won't enter the programming mode for the fob.

Ironically, the security handbook says valet mode can be cancelled by using the key fob!

Does the central locking and arming work properly using the key? If so that's a good sign.

Be sure to follow all the steps from the beginning, for each attempt. I would suggest:
Begin with the car locked/armed
Unlock/disarm with key in door
Unlock trunk with key (hopefully cancelling valet mode here)
Open driver's door
Turn ignition on, check for proper display on dash
Rock valet switch 5 times to get audible tone
Press larger (lock) remote button
Press valet again and then wait for it to time out

Did you try the battery disconnect/reconnect and retry?

The security system module is behind the panel near the fuel fill tube in the trunk. It is not known to fail much.
