knocking back rear when turning right.
it's been a while since I posted on this side.
so my newly acquired X306 back in December I was able to get it on the road in June due to the left hand diff output bearing needing replacement.
now the rear doesn't make any noise going forward.
here's the fun one, from a stop, turning right or accelerating out of a right turn and I accelerate quite hard there's this terrible knocking noise in the back right area. i'm trying to find my go Pro so I can attach back there to see if I can see and or hear where the noises coming from.
any one have an idea?

Hi Shawn,
If the knocking sound is a regular and continuous knock-knock-knock-knock, I would suspect a U-joint is coming into contact with something. This could be a rear half-axle U-joint, or perhaps more likely, it could be the driveshaft U-joint just ahead of the center bearing or even the U-joint where the driveshaft meets the transmission.
Failure of the driveshaft center bearing or transmission mount could allow excessive movement of the driveshaft and allow a U-joint to come into contact with the transmission tunnel or some other object.
As far as the axle U-joints go, it's hard to imagine the rear subframe twisting enough for a U-joint to come into contact with something, but if the knocking sound is irregular, that brings into play a host of other possibilities, such as rear shock upper bushings, differential pendulum mount bushings, possibly the subframe bushes as SD96XJ6L suggested, or perhaps something else like an exhaust heat shield that has become dislodged and is coming into contact with a moving part.
Please keep us informed.
Cheers,
Don
