Default Leveling switch

I was looking through the electrical diagrams for my 1997 XJR and came across a diagram talking about the head light LEVELING SWITCH located on the center consule. Now I know some UK cars you can raise and lower the headlight but I see nothing on my Jag that does this. What am I missing or is it not on every 1997 model XJR..

Thanks

AFAIK it's standard issue for German market cars only....perhaps optional on others?

Cheers

What's interesting is that all X300s have the electric leveling mechanism behind the lights. I wonder how difficult it would be to wire them up for use... You'd need the clock module with the switch, and I suppose there is some control module that goes between.

I can't speak about cars on the islands, but I have never seen the leveling mechanism on any X300 built for North America.
