Default loose terminal connector 1997 XJ6R

two wire female connector with red and black wires

Anyone know where the other male end is? Also any ideas on why the SC hose is so wet?

Single white wire looks like the starter solenoid command to close

Without this connected you will have no starter

The other end will be on the top side grouped with 2 of the same looking/ 4 wire O2 sensor connectors.

This will probable be on the rear of the valve cover on the left side

Do not mix the 2 02 sensor connectors as they will fit either position.

Knock sensor? There are two, front and back, left side engine block.

Not sure if they have that sort of connector. I think so. Also that should be a red/blue wire combo, are you sure you are seeing red/black?

Oil underneath the hose, probably inside the intake due to engine venting.

The knock sensor connectors will have the metal bar that you press on to release from the sensor

It is certainly in the area and if the knock sensor it will be a EV1 series connector like the throttle position sensor or a fuel injector

Your SC engine has these other sensors as an example buried in your supercharger installation so another EV1 connector is the trunk dome lights as an example
