Went to get a alignment today and found out that my lower front bushes the rear ones on the control arm. are gone i have now found out what that clonking is.
Soo id like to see if i could figure this out for my self whats invloved with changing these out. i was thinking if i could get the arm off and take it someplace and have them press them in?

 

One of my lower front shock bushes was shot. I was able to change it at home. But , next time I will just pull the lower control arm off to use a shop press. The bushes were only $3.50 each, but it took me 2 hours without a press.

 

I did those last year myself. it was pretty easy. but these other ones. idk looks pretty daunting

 

I changed my lower control bushing a few months ago it took me a few hours to take the old ones out and to press the new one in and I struggled to get spring back it

 

I think you will need a road spring compressor in order to remove the lower front wishbones
