Exclamation "Mink" LWB Jaguar X300 plush lambs wool? mats on eBay

FYI, someone has what appears to be some new in box Jaguar OEM "mink" plush lambs wool mats for a LWB X300 on eBay.

They seem to be really cheap compared to OEM if someone is looking for a set.

..... I have no relationship, just ran across them.

When I worked at the dealer these VDP (LWB) Lambswool mat sets were $1500.00 MSRP.
No one bought them at that price but the regular LWB carpet set was around $150.00 MSRP so most people just bought those. The eBay set looks like the LWB set.

The 1995 VDP Lambswool set was the SWB so they are different.

Unhappy Yep, had heard they still cost over $400 for the SWB new....

And what's interesting is that I've read that the lambs wool mats (rugs) weren't durable to the point of easily ruining with any real dirt/moisture. Is that true that they were that 'fragile'?

If these were "warm charcoal" and SWB, I'd pick them up for $85 or less (per the ad) and give them a try though.

But they don't match nor physically fit my car

That guy's floor from the ad reminds me of "That 70's Show"

Don't think it would be a stretch for a interior shop to adjust the rear set to fit properly. IIRC, the added length is in the rear seat floor pan; the fronts are probably the same (at least they look it based on my research).

For $85? Lambswool? OEM? Even if just the fronts fit... (I have sable carpet in my 308...these would be close...)

Maybe, but I'm not sure what color "mink" is. In one photo it looks somewhat brown, in the others, gray.

If really a silver gray, they might look OK in my car, but not anything with a brown tint.

Any idea what color "mink" really is?
