I spent last weekend looking at a couple of 1996 XJ6 VDP's models in SW Florida, they were nice cars, under 100,000 miles and around $4,500 the cars were nice but the interior leather was in poor condition -( I understand there old motor cars but still, the interiors were rough and I would like a better interior)
I have located a 1995 XJ6 VDP - is the 1995 VDP still a good year? I have been lead to believe - focus on 96 and newer?

No idea how cars get looked after in Florida, but the climate would NOT be friendly to any leather trim if it is not maintained, and to some people that is just too hard???.

Here we have similar cars from our tropical climate states.

Then add the dropping prices for these, and other prestige type cars, and owner pride takes a serious back seat early on in the cars life.

Maybe expand your search area a bit. a more temperate climate may spring a good leather example.
