My 3rd Brake Light fell off when I was cleaning the inside of the back window. It's a perfect light in working order but it just fell off. There is nothing on my window. It's all in one piece sitting on my rear deck. How can I get this back up there properly? Thanks guys. I'd rather do it right the first time.

 

Hi,
If you look at the part that faces the window you should see 2 clips on either side.
These will need to glued back onto the screen, when completely dry re-affix the light to the clips.
If you look carefully on the window you may see where they were originally fixed.

I've found that JB Weld works well for the gluing-it-back-on part.

I used velcro squares. The window is blacked out where it's glued, so none the wiser.

 

LMAO, Mine fell off today. Going to try JB weld or 3M emblem adhesive. (also known as jaguar repair glue)

 

Rear view mirror glue kit works as well...

Excellent procedure! I'll have to use it on both my '91 & '95.

Right now, I have a folded towel under the entire assembly. It holds the assembly in the correct place, tight against the rear screen.
