Default New to the Forum

Hi everybody, I'm new to the Forum. Hope to meet new friends and learn new things about the Jaguars. I currently own a 1997 Jaguar XJ6L.

On another note, CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?!
I'm currently doing a head job on my car, but need help in knowing the correct torque specifications for the cylinder head bolts. 1997 Jaguar XJ6L, 4.0 engine

Welcome to the forum. Cylinder head bolts are 59-61 Nm. You can download the service manuals from the Sticky X300 How To quick links , on the X300 home page, but you may need to make ten posts to do so. I can never keep it straight. Also, on ebay buy the Jaguar Heritage parts and service manual CD for about $10.

Welcome to the forum!

I seem to recall head bolts may be part of the Torque somethingSomething Monitoring System and are single-use bolts....but I may have that wrong...
Don't have the disc with me today, if I have time this evening, I'll try to look it up for you

Thanks for looking that information up for me. From all the research I've done, I believe you are right and are only single use bolts.
