not a good way to start the day.....
Saturday morning here in Louisiana, finally got to sleep in late.
Finally, the rain has stopped. It has been raining all week long.
I see the last box from Rock Auto has arrived.
It must be the wiper blade.
In my haste trying to change the wiper
the arm sprung back to the windshield.
Cracking it in many directions.
It has been my quest to find a wiper blade
that will work with this cyclops wiper system.
Now finding a windshield for a 29-year-old
Jaguar shouldn't be too hard.
(LOL and crying at the same time)
I have searched for this topic on the X300's.
I have found the posts kind of dated.
Anyone recently have a windshield replaced?
I know the rubber/chrome seal attaches to the glass prior to installation.
Any suggestions where to get one?
BTW: I hope your day is going better than mine!

Buona fortuna!

The trick is the though seal on the lower edge , ECU connector water migration path
The windshield comes in 2 forms , non - heated and heated , gold heating element sheet in glass
If you look on the cars left opposite the engine ECU under a small cover you will see 2 same relay sockets that will most likely not be occupied
See page 19
