Default Oil in spark plug housing

ive just done oil change which went ok, but then started doing plugs. I removed coil and all 6 sparks plug casings had oil in them. The plugs came out ok and changed them all. Started first time and ticked over well, but lot of smoke out the exhausts. Anyone had this issue before?

Normal.

The smoke will clear.

The cam cover needs removing, and the spark plug "boss" seals replaced with a good dressing of Hi Temp RTV to complete the seal.

I’m assuming you put the High Temp RTV between the camcover and the gasket, and not on the engine itself? I’m asking because I’ve never used the RTV.

I will say that there seems to be a difference between the aftermarket and OEM camcover gasket. The aftermarket is longer than it needs be and is a pain to fit on, and perhaps will not last as long.

The aftermarket spark plug seals (by URO) seem to work just fine. They fit well.

I have onlyused Gen gaskets here., as. like you teh aftermarket are a tad suspect, and I work in the after market Auto PartsIndustry.

The RTV is used to "glue" the seals to the cam cover bosses, and then a smear on the face that contacts the head.

Also, take the time o clear ALL the gunk out of the cam cover edge groove, so the new seal sits as designed, with a smear of RTV here also on both sides, with a liberal coating around those "D" seals.

Mine has been 6 years now, no oil ingress at all.

In my opinion, it is more likely to find your plug wells are out-of-round moreso than your plug-well seals, whether OEM or aftermarket:
