I'm not sure I understand? Why do you need a second jack? Isn't your car on stands?

To change the shock you just need to have a jack under the spring pan to ensure that the lower control arms don't drop too far as to let the spring pop out, it will be a violent outburst!!

Your lower shock bolt looks as though it's been cut off? I can't remember what the length of the bolt needs to be but if I have time tomorrow I'll measure mine.

The lower shock bushing needs to be pressed out/in. If you don't have a press, you might be able to fashion a tool using a threaded rod, some washers a nut and a socket.

i tried to install these sensen shocks

i think i might be trying to do this wrong

it came with a new bushing and metal thing with the shocks

i thought it was a new top shock bushing and metal piece

i had gotten new URO top shock bushing so i thought oh i have extra now

well now i think the ones that came with the shocks go under and are a bush for the fame underneath then i install uro ones up top ?

i set the wheel down to see how the gab would be and its huge!!
i do not this this is right?
do i smack the old thing off the old shocks?
or are the ones that came with the shocks that part and i leave the thing one the old one

it has this gab and its all the way threaded down..

It's hard to see from your pictures but you should have a large flat washer, a softish rubbery bushing, probably orange or black in color and a large cup washer on either side of the inner wall.

So with the bottom of the shock mounted on the wishbone, you would manually compress the shock and then slip on a large flat washer, a bushing and a cup washer in that order. The cup washer will have the wide opening against the bushing and the small opening against the inner wheel well.

Then you poke the rod of the shock through the hole in the inner wall. Now from inside the engine bay, slide on the spacer and push it down until it is fully in the bushing. Then place the other cup washer, the other bushing and the other flat washer on top. Now fit the nut and tighten down. That's all there is to it. I don't think that many shocks come with the lower shock mounting bushing but if yours did it is a small metalastik bushing that's hard to confuse with the top mount bushings.
