Default Old Timing Chain Tensioner Installation

Looking to swap old style timing chain tensioner from my car ( Lady Penelope ) to a salvage car and need instructions

The TSB below only mentions removing it with detail on winding it back ( clockwise ) before removal in Action line 3.

http://jagrepair.com/images/TSB/X300...er%20Start.pdf

Does the installation of the old style involve just reversing the instructions and winding it counterclockwise before bolting it down and is " until the snail engages in the park position " referring to like on the new style in my hand that has a dogtooth spiral step that as you compress with your hand that seems to only be able to engage in the first step

Are there any additional steps or precautions with the old style as I don't have that old one out ?

Asking for a friend

The friend dropped and broke a new revised style on a 3rd salvage car

Ask me how I know
