Default Paint repairs

I managed to scrape the front bumper of my car a while back and I'm finally getting around to doing something about it. I've been quoted £175 to get it fixed. Is that a fair price? Is it worth trying to fix it myself with a a Chipex kit or similar? Any advice appreciated.

Going through the same process on a 1997 XJ6L (Same Color). So for my bumper, since I had a parts car, I am repainting the other bumper using AutomotiveTouchup since it has the headlight washers. I primed it and sprayed it, yes with a spray can, and looks real good. Just waiting for another can to finish. Then I will put the clear coat. For other parts of the car that have major faults I will be doing the same but on a smaller scale. I have spoken to a few people and they also had a lot of success. Go to their site and they have a lot of how to's to include fixing the same issue that you have
