Default Pioneer Stereo Harness Adaptor For The X300

Just bought a Pioneer stereo for my X300, but it doesn't seem to have the normal ISO connector on it...

Has anyone seen a harness adaptor that has the X300 socket on one end and this:

... on the other??

NO.

Went thru this same thing with mine recently, and after much running around on promises of "we got them all" from a Pioneer agent, no good, too hard, made my own, took all of 30 minutes, dont look factory, but who can see it when all is put back in place.

Yeah, I guess I'll be making my own then.

The only other option would be getting a Jag-to-ISO adaptor and an ISO-to-Pioneer adaptor, and putting them together, but that's just another unnecessary handshake, and these pre-made harnesses are highly over-priced...

OK, so for my DIY adaptor I just desoldered the socket from the Jaguar stereo PCB, and I've been matching the pins up to the wires on the harness that came with the Pioneer.

Audio signal lines aside, the Jaguar socket includes:

RSM
ILL
P.ANT
ACC
AVC
TEL
MUTE
TEL+
TEL-

From the above list, I've only used the ones in bold. The Pioneer harness has no lines for the rest, so I guess I just ignore them?

The Jaguar socket also has two pins labeled "BATT", but the Pioneer harness only has one "Battery +". Which pin do I connect it to?

I made my harness and it worked.

As for the two 'BATT' pins (BTW, thanks for all the replies guys! , I multimetered them both, and discovered that they were identical, so I just chose one at random.

As a side note, those live leads from the Battery can be used to keep the cigar charger live at all times so you can charge your cellphone while you are in the mall.
