R493 EGR & Throttle Spring Recall
I can't say for certain, but as I recall one should take care putting an extra wind on the increased strength recall replacement spring as that may impact the ability for cruise control and traction module (which is what really pulls the throttle) to operate properly.

I noticed this weekend that the ECU did not have the proper R493 decal attached to the exterior of the case after the work performed by the dealer back in 2015. I don't necessarily suspect that the dealer failed to replace the EPROMs with the updated recall EPROMs, but the case didn't show any obvious signs of being opened and again no decal. Does the "9355" (see photo in linked thread) label on the EPROMs indicate if they have the R493 updated EGR settings or not?
