Hello again.

My problem this time is i cannot get the my radio to function in the car. I originally had a missing head unit and cd changer. I used a wiring adapter for the new head unit.

Voltage for ignition 14.33 with car running, voltage for battery 14.10 with car running. This is at the ISO end of the adapter plug. Checked at car end as well.

Amperage at both is only 0.68A

Used included ISO plugs with stereo to test it on a power supply and it turned on just fine..

Where should I check for this problem, and why would I have good voltage but no amperage?

 

Problem solved.. cleaned up the fround post under the radio and tightened it down with the connector underneath the nut. Voila! I now have a fully functional radio. I was just spinning the ring connector onto the end of the post (tight fit, threaded on) and hadn't disturbed it. It turned out to be a bit dirty.

Voltages with car off this time around were 12.43, vs 11.4-11.7 prior.
