Hi all
I recently bought a 1995 xj Sov and there are a few niggles. I went to change the bulb in the passenger side numberplate light, to find that the prongs were missing.
When I went under the boot lining to replace the holder, there were no wires going to this holder at all! No wires are visible that have moved, fallen or broken. I'm totally confused about what may have happened here, so if anyone could shed any light I'd be grateful.
Many thanks!
Gavin

use a dental mirror and reach within the rear trunk hood where the lock solenoid is located, it should be there, not unless someone cut it (which is highly irregular for anyone to go to the effort of cutting the socket)Originally Posted by gj1982
