Default Repair Question for a 96 XJ12

I recently hit an elevated manhole cover and tore up the front suspension on my 1996 XJ12. If I buy another 95-99 XJ6 or XJ8, can I use the parts from that car on my XJ12? I am not sure if I needed to find another XJ12 due to the weight of the motor. The XJ12's are hard to locate in Florida if you want it just for parts.

Not an XJ8, as far as I know. The XJ12 wears XJ Sport shocks, probably due to the extra weight, and the springs and arms should be the same but the subframe (or crossmember in Jaguar parlance) is completely different.

Your best bet is to visit Genuine Jaguar Parts and Jaguar Accessories for classic Jaguars from Jaguar Heritage Parts UK and see which parts you can carry over, as it's not going to be a bolt-on job.
