Default Replacement alternator four wires connections to the original two wire

Hi guys,

I have replaced my 3 pin plug alternator with a 5 pin plug one.

Hence I am left with finding how to connect the 4 wires coming out from the alternator’ s plug to the 2 (black snd white) wires originally connected to the alternator’s 3 pin plug.

Any suggestions?

This is the original 3 pun plug with two wires

The black and white wires of the original plug which now Agas been removed.

These are the four wires coming from the alternator’s new 5 pin plug. These 4 wires I have to connect to the two black snd white wires. Don’t know which colours wires are going yo the white and whice ines are going to the black wires? Any advuce?

You would have to know what each of the new terminal wires was used for according to its color code. Then it might be possible to match them up correctly using the Jaguar wiring diagram.

The more obvious advice would be to get a new alternator with the correct 3-terminal plug!
