Replacing alternator XJR6

Replacing alternator XJR6
Would it be best to do this from the top rather than the bottom?
And does anyone know the sequence?
I'm thinking,
1 Fan pack out
2 Belts off
3 Drain coolant
4 Remove large radiator hose and maybe even the expansion tank
5 Remove supercharger
6 Remove alternator.
Then work back that list with new alternator.
Does that sound about right?
I'm hoping the intercooler would be able to stay in place, but I'm not sure.

It's been a few years so details are a little fuzzy, but the alternator comes out the bottom. No need to remove fan pack, coolant, supercharger, hose, or expansion tank.
I recall it being very straightforward except for the little adjuster pivot thingy----which was a little fussy to deal with.
Cheers

No.
We're talking about the alternator, right? On an XJR/6? It's all the way forward on the engine. The oil filter and mounting are quite a bit aft.
