Hi ,

I just wanted to share my experience with you about my 1996 Daimler six lwb hard start issue , occurring often when the outside temperature is hot ,

In first steps I did :

1) Crank Position Sensor renewed.
2) Intake Air Temp sensor renewed
3) Checked the Cam Position Sensor position
4) Used a good fuel system cleaner with carbon clean effect.

Result : NO CHANGE , in the second step : I see that this happens when outside is hot OR when the engine is hot and stays a little longtime and restart problem ... so I suspected FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR even there were no sign of problem once the car drives ( pull very well , no hesitation , anything ) and YESTERDAY I changed it by myself and result is : no more start issue !!!

I wanted to share this experience because it is a very easy job to do before going to expensive repairs or changes ,
