Default Return of stubborn P0430 code

Catalyst efficiency below threshold (bank 2) thinking of changing the converter. Light hasn't come on since I changed breather hose off of the manifold. Which was giving me a P0411 as well as the P0430. But now after 1,000 miles (2 months) I'm just getting a P0430 -________-

Welcome to the "P0430 Club" :-)

Intake or exhaust air leaks, oxygen sensors, a faulty converter....lots of "could be" things. There's been some talk over the years....I can't recall now if it's ever been truly proven or disproven....that it's actually of software glitch in the ECU.

Whenever I get P0430 (might be days or months between occurences) it always coincides with "LTFT" spiking tp "100".....but the operating/measuring parameters of fuel trim are only supposed range from +25 to -25

<shrug>

Sorry I'm no help

Cheers
DD

Thanks for the reply I think I'll have all the oxy sensors tested along with the converter and maybe by process of elimination I will find out the problem with it.
