Default seat tracks x300

I want to have the drivers seat moved back about an inch and a half. Someone mentioned that the xj6 L might have longer seat tracks versus the standard xj6. Anyone know of this?

Interesting question, to which I dont know the answer, but as the LWB was all about rear legroom, I would have thought not. Happy to be proved wrong.

Perhaps a search on the JDHT website would reveal multiple part numbers for seat rails? If there was a longer one offered, JDHT should have a different part number for it.

All the added length to a LWB sedan is after the B/C pillars. There is only one part number for the electric adjust seat slide (GNA4832BA).
The part number might be superseded by now or even NLA?

Gonna be difficult with the way the front slide mount bolt is angled into the floor.

Might talk a body shop into a modification but...................

since the seat is part of the safety system with belts and SRS stuff, I don't know if they will.

If you are handy with a drill, cut-torch and welder, you can do almost anything.
