Default Security Alarm Gremlin

So today I went to visit my dad about three hours away and halfway there I stopped for a drink. Hit my remote and just got the beep. Tried it again the same thing. SO I went ahead an manually locked it. Walked away and as I was walking away the alarm went off. Went back to the car hit the remote and this time it worked. Walked away and about a minute later it went off again. So I had to leave it unlocked ......which was scary to do. Went ahead and drove to my dads. Got here hit the remote and get the one bad beep. Tried it a few time same thing. Manually locked it hoping that it would work. ABout 30 minutes the alarm went off. SO a few questions

1. If I pull the fuse for the security alarm am I asking for trouble on a temporary basis.
2. What the heck is going on?

So two things that I have done is changed the bumper. As a side note my right blinker blinks fast and my left blinks just fine.

Well since I could not sleep in because I am thinking about this problem can someone point me to where the microswitches location for the hood, doors, and trunk so I can see if those are issues. If I were at home I would look at the manual to find them. I am going to try the reset at first light to see if that fixes the problem and also look into the ignition cylinder

Update, so I started to do a reset on my car and opened the trunk. However, I decided to fallow the security troubleshooting guide and it said to put the key in and turn the ignition and then open all the doors to see if the dash light comes on. So I opened the drivers' door and the light came on and I closed the door. Then I looked back and noticed the trunk was still open. SHould there be a light on the dash if I open the trunk? Since there was not one I assume that the trunk microswitch is hosed? I can't see where that is located. Can someone help me with that?

After doing the reset here is where I am
1. Open the trunk and turn on the key.....no light on the dash
2. Press the remote to lock and arm....Everything locks, get the two beeps and then the error beep.
3. Press the remote to unlock one disarms, driver door unlocks, press twice all doors unlock and press the third time trunk unlocks.

If I try to lock the car with the trunk open then I get the beep right away and the same thing with any door. So the reason the light does not come on could be a bulb. So DOn't think it is the trunk. Has to do with possibly the issue that I am having with the right blinker

Took the car for a drive and when I stopped to eat went to lock the car and right off the bat got the error tone. So I think that it thinks that something is open. I assume it is the trunk. When I get home I will look at the switch. Is that switch normally open or close? I would like to test it and see if it is the switch. Also, I went to check the hood switch. Well, I found the connector just above the siren, but it had one of those temp plugs on it.
