My two X-300s are a 1995 XJ bought new (220,000 miles) and runs like a top and a 1996 VDP that I've had for two years. It has 106000 miles. The '95 shifts way smoother than the '96 VDP. Not the the shift is terrible in the VDP and if I did not have the '95 to compare to I would not even bring this topic up.

I changed all the fluids in the VDP right after I bought the car.

Any ideas out there?
