SRS warning
My 1996 XJ6 has a problem every time i adjust the steering wheel. Whether its moving it closer to me or farther away towards the dash, whenever i adjust the steering wheel the airbag warning light comes on. If i dont adjust it and leave it alone, after a few start ups it goes away and never comes back. Any ideas what it could be?

this is my first post, recently got a jag, and have an airbag light. It is not the same as your symptoms, however from searching for my issue, i beleive i found something that may help you. It seems your issue may be due to a "clockspring" which is behind the steering wheel and in the area of the airbag module itself. I suggest researching for the term clockspring in regards to air bag, and see what you get. I hope this helps you
