Stalls and Transmission Light Came On
Hello Jaguar Nation,
In October I was admitted into the hospital and had open heart surgery; I was there for 34 days. I am recovering now! Before my hospital stay I was having a problem with my '95 Vanden Plas. When I would approach a stop it would STALL and the TRANSMISSION light would come on. I was able to get it started again to drive it home. It has been sitting in my garage every since. I purchased another battery and will put it in tomorrow. I am almost sure that I will still have this same STALL problem as before. Jaguar Nation, I am reaching out to you once again for your HELP! What possibly could this be? Thanks

Thanks Brutal, so what should I do? Replace the crank sensor and throttle position sensor and clean the throttle body? What I have gathered reading up on a few post; dirty air control valve or even a dirty idle senor...... Does that make sense and can those items be cleaned without being replaced?
