Cool Sun Roof

Hello I am trying to set my sun roof I have to doc 13-34 which goes through it but since I got this car the sun roof was sealed shut I have since bought the SRCM and got the drive motor sorted however when it tell me to
POSITIONING SLIDING ROOF TO OBTAIN 8 MM GAP I can not figure out where the 8mm gap is suppose to be. Can anyone tell me or take a photo of where the gap is taken..

Thanks

Try to use TSB 13-39 instead. It describes a different way to make sure that the sliding roof is in the 'closed' position.
You only need to have the roof closed and level to install the SRCM with it set to the re-timed/2 dots position.

Ok Bob thank you for the info a while back I had asked on the forum whether just having the lid completely closed was all that was needed to have it timed right. I had no replies to that question so like I say thanks.

So I have to ask what's with this 8mm gap they talk about if it is not really needed. It's quite a bit when you think about it.
