Will the TCI shift solenoid from a 97+ xjs/xjr/xj12 work on a 95 xj6? I cant locate the part for the xj6. I recently had all the wiring from front to back replaced. Now my mechanic tells me the transmission shift solenoid doesnt work right because it got a "surge" or something when the new wiring was being installed. Sounds like a load of crap. But then again, theyve been trying to figure out the electrics for months.
